- Mdm FSC
- 82-year-old Chinese female
- Neck pain with both arm weakness and numbness
- Loss of fine motor skills like using chopsticks, picking up coins
- Unable to walk due to weakness of both lower limb
- X rays showed severe wear and tear of the spine giving rise to an abnormally aligned neck.
- MRI showed severe narrowing of the spinal cord at multiple levels, compressing and damaging the spinal cord

Procedure
- The spine is approached from the front of the neck.
- A vertebral body was removed and discs removed.
- The spine is strutted with a titanium cage filled with bone grafts and stabilized with a titanium plate.
